possible breeders

OK I happen to come across these ads.

I'm not sure if they are breeders, so I don't want to flag to soon. So I thought I would put them out for you guys

1. Baby guinea pigs (just born)
2. 8 WEEK OLD GUINEA PIGS
3.This one just seemed odd...

for some reason I have been seeing A LOT of male with female ads. None mention if 1 of the 2 are fixed.

Number 1 does seem like a breeder. Flag away. It's hard to tell with #2. As far as number 3, you can always email and ask if the female is spayed or the male neutered. I often respond to CL ads to find out more info.

Hmmm. I think #2 is a breeder ad.

a) it's a stupid ad.
b) "would" make a good family pet? Who says that? If they ARE a family pet, then I don't think they would phrase it like that.
c) the cage is a breeder-style cage. Not a pet store cage and not a C&C cage.
d) the way they are holding the guinea pig. Does that look like a caring pet owner to you? No, that looks like someone who is experienced handling her 'stock.'

None of those reasons alone would be compelling, but together, I think it paints a breeder picture.

I would flag that one.
