I have never had a problem logging in (with username/password) to this site from home but I have to try several times to log in when I'm at work. Sometimes I get the "Thank you for logging in" screen and then it takes me right back as though I hadn't put in my username and password. Sometimes I don't get that screen at all and it's like nothing ever happened. I usually have to try logging in to this site 4-5 times before it actually lets me do so without kicking me back. Any ideas on why this might be? I thought it might be our firewall at work (it's a city government office and they go crazy with "security" sometimes) but if that were the case I don't think I'd be able to log into any site that requires a username/password - but I am able to get to my gmail, comcast.net, ebay, etc., without any problem at all. And like I said, I am able to login to this site *eventually* it just takes a few attempts. In any event, I asked our ISD manager and he said it isn't anything on the City's end, which is his standard response, mind you, so it may or may not be. |

It does that to me sometimes too, but as soon as I go to a thread or one of the categories it'll then be logged in all the way and say that I'm logged in. Not sure why it does it though. |

I noticed that on this particular computer (that I'm on right now) that it would do that--or so it appeared. Turned out it was a cache thing. After logging in, try one of the links at the top(like FAQ), and see if it still looks like you're not logged in. If it does, then likely your work computer just has the non-member front page stored in its cache. What I ended up doing is bookmarking after signing in--doesn't change how the site works, but it saves a step or two. |

Sometimes it works so that I log in and then have to click on a link - Forum, Photo Galleries, etc., and it shows me as logged in. Other times, though, clicking on a link after putting in the user name and password doesn't work at all and I keep getting back to the screen that tells me I have to log in. |

That's been happening to me too, the last week or so, just yesterday, I tried clicking on one of the sub forums, when it said I wasn't logged in and when it showed the page, it showed I was logged in. Weird. |
