How to unsubscribe?

Hi - I just love this site and I enjoy reading the forums, but since joining I have gotten a ton of junk email. I would like to unsubscribe to the forum, but can't figure out how to do that. Can anyone help???? Thanks so much!!

Go to "My Profile" from the menu bar at the top.

Choose Edit Options.

Scroll down to Messaging and Notification

In that section, look at the option for "Default Thread Subscription Mode"

Change the option to "Do Not Subscribe".

That will change any future threads that you reply to.

For the existing threads:

On the left side of the screen in My Profile, choose "List Subscriptions"

That will show you all the threads that you are subscribed to.

At the bottom of the screen, it should say: "Selected Threads:"

Change that to no email notification.

That should do it. I'm assuming by junk email you mean the notifications of someone's reply to a post.

Actually, I'm not getting reply notifications, I'm just getting general junk email. I don't mean to malign this forum in any way. I have really learned a lot here and have enjoyed reading all the posts. It's just that almost as soon as I subscribed here, the junk emails started. It might just be a coincidence. But thank you so much for the info and responding so quickly.

If you have your email marked as private, the spam shouldn't be coming from this forum.
