Those of you that have reached the mighty rank of
Cavy Slave or above know about the Thanks button feature you see on every post. Those of you that are still
Cavy Cagers will have to wait for your 30 days +10 post mark to earn it (sorry).
I want those of you with it to use it. Especially on policy posts, and good posts that outline the importance of rescuing and adopting verses buying.
When you give Thanks it's like you are signing a petition. You are placing your name as a supporter of what has been written. The more thanks an important policy or welfare post gets the better it's credence.
We are creating more and more threads about the importance and fine details of animal welfare. We are doing this to have quick links to supply to people who question welfare ideals. The more thanks a linkable post gets the more they will understand the support behind it.
If you see a post you wish you had written or agree with/support please give it a big fat THANKS!
Really good threads and posts that outline the welfare ideals this site supports are often stickied at the tops of the forums. Those that aren't are usually so remarkable that they are easily searched for. Don't forget that the basic search has an option to just find thanks posts and if you know who wrote the post you want to link to, and you know it was thanked, you can go to that member's profile and click on the "find all thanked posts by <whoever>".
Feel free to post links in your replies. Sometimes the only replies needed are a link or 10. It saves everyone having to repeat thing we already have discussed, argued about and debated over a million times.
So Let us give THANKS
