I get my pellets from there . I've never tried any of their other products, but I buy 50lb bales of hay locally and as long as it is compressed it doesn't take up too much room, but once you start taking flakes off it takes up a good amount of space. So you might want to go with a smaller amount of hay first and see how well it fits.

No I wasnt thinking about 50 pounds of hay. I was thinking about 10 or 15 pounds
I had already tried farmers from craigslist they were all to big. I have been buying hay
from pet stores put their bags are so little and it those little bags dont last me very long.

I was using 50lb, because that is what I have experience with sorry! I would give the 10-15lb a try. And yes bales of hay are large, but in the long run bulk hay even 10 or 15# saves you tons of money!

I bought hay from their and my piggies like it. I bought the box that has 6 20oz bags in it so i'm saving money by doing that and it will last a long time. I wont need any more hay until after I move to Florida. And the amount that you get in each severing(if you want to say it that way) takes up like a 14x14 area of space when you pull it apart so it's easier for the guinea pigs to eat. But if you put it in your hay rack, you won't need to pull it apart as much

Yes they prob are but these were horse size bales I live in a trailer no space for
a bale that big I have to keep the hay in the room where the piggies are.
Mommy of 2 I have a question I gonna choose that bag because I was thinking
the bag suggested I thought would bring alot of dust because it would be cut down
    to fit in the bag.

Well all 6 bags come in a box. So i left the ones i'm not using right now in the box in my hallway. I don't think it would bring much dust. The bags are eco friendly too

Even 10lb of hay should last you quite sometime and save money. But I would go ahead a order what you have room for. The hay shouldn't be too dusty even if it is cut to fit in the bag. But you may end up with some "hay powder", which are just really small pieces of hay. Also I know that there are plastic bins that can fit bales of hay so it can be stored outside, just a thought.

Re: Just got sweet meadow pellets

I ordered their pellets this last time and have been really happy with them. They were a lot less expensive than Oxbow or KM pellets, although I was happy with them, too.

If you buy from a farmer, you need to know your hay. Sometimes they'll tell you it's one type but it's not. I bought a bale of meadow grass that turned out have a large quantity of alfalfa mixed in. I even questioned the farmer about the hay before purchasing it. I examined it closely once I got it home and realized that I couldn't feed it to my adult guinea pigs.
