Where do you buy food?

where do you buy your food? Do you order on-line or go to the store. I have been ordering Oxbow products from The Ferret Store for over a year now. I was wondering if anyone found better prices anywhere else?

I go to a pet store (dosn't sell animals) to buy my Oxbow. Only comes in 5lb bags. I also have ordered from www.critterstore.com, which is cheaper than the Ferret Store, but dosn't offer free shipping.

I go to a feed store to get everything I need.

I buy hay from the feedstore, but I order 50lb bags of cavy cuisine from oxbow. I measure it out into smaller 10 lb increments and freeze 40 lbs when I buy it. When I get low, I grab a bag out of the freezer, let it set for a couple of days then it's ready to feed. For the pups, I bought a 10 lb bag of cavy performance from oxbow and will get more as needed.

I buy my feed from a feed store in 5lb. bags, we know the owners really well, they sell the dog leashes and treats I make.

I buy from www.petfooddirect.com. They have all the Oxbow products, at MUCH cheaper prices than ferretstore. Now, they do charge shipping, but here's the thing - there are coupons all the time (sign up at checkout to get them by email) so you end up saving the cost of shipping. Even without the coupons you'd save over ferret store prices (I've done the "low-price guarantee" from ferret store and saved $35 on one order that was less than $100!)

I get mine from a petstore (Doesn't sell animals). I get 5lb bags for only 5- 6 bucks. Hay is only 7.00 for a big bag. It's called concord pet supplies.

I get pellets and some hay from Oxbow. I buy the 50lb bag. I get Timothy and Bluegrass hay form Kleenmama's.
