Question Young pig and adult pig - which kind of hay?

I'm going to be introducing Sally (1.5years - timothy hay) and Penny - (10 weeks - alfalfa hay) in a few weeks, and they'll be in the same cage (assuming they get along).

Since you're supposed to give cavies under one year old alfalfa, and the cavies over one year old timothy, what kind of hay do I put in their hay rack?

A mix of half and half and when the baby gets to 6 months do all timothy. If you give them just grass hay (timothy), it won't be a big deal.
