Hey guys, I was just wondering if it is okay for guinea pigs to eat leaves. So much are falling right now, and I dont know if it would be a good treat or not. Of course I'd clean them first. Second, can piggies eat pumpkin? Its a great time of year for that and it would be helpful to me to give them the rinds, and perhaps they would enjoy it also?? Thanks, guys! |

Not Ranked. Helpful AND tactful post? : 0
No, don't feed them leaves. There are a few types that are poisonous. Pumpkin can be fed but it's better to feed the fleshy inside part rather than the rind. Only about 1-2 1" cubes per pig a couple times a week. No seeds or goopy stuff from the inside. |
