Talk to your exotic vet. Mine buys Oxbow in huge quanities and then sells it by the pound. My local rabbit rescue (which takes other rodents too) does the same. |

Kleenmama's is probitively expensive to order to Canada. I live just over the boarder and it's about $35/bag for me. Oxbow's pretty readily available across the country though. |

Which size bag? I tried to order 10lbs bag without combination with hay. Pellets alone plus shipping is about $20. I'm in California though. |

For the smallest sized bag (10lbs) it was over 35 to Vancouver here that's before duty and stuff that would be charged by customs. It's because they have to do brokerage and stuff to go over the boarder and use a differant shipping company then they do in the states. We also can't get their hay over the boarder because of international grain laws and stuff. I would imagine it would be a bit more else where in the country (but hop onto her site and try it out). When you break it down pound by pound it's not /that/ bad. Since Oxbow is about 10-20 / 5 lbs. But it's a lot at once depending on how much you order and what your availability of alternatives is. I might just drive down there and get a wack of it one day. |

I bought 10lbs. combined with hay once. Now I'm running low on the pellets. The price per pound came down a lot when I ordered pellets with hay. I used to get 10 lbs of Oxbow here for $16. I might just order KM pellets since the price is not much different. My pigs seem to like them more than Oxbow. I didn't know they cost so much shipping to Canada. The distance from KM to your place is probably shorter than to mine |

I buy my Oxbow Timothy Hay in 50 pound boxes and Oxbow food in 50 and 10 pounds in Brampton, Ontario. I dare not post the name of the website just incase I would be violating the rules here. 50 pounds of the Cavy Cuisine goes for $73 Canadian. But, in Google, if you enter "oxbow guinea pig brampton", you will find it. Hopefully this post is legitimate and you can get what you need at a fair price! I go and pick up my stuff from her as it is only a 45 minute drive from where I live. She ships as well, you have to weight out the pro's and con's of driving to get it or having it shipped. London is about 2 hours from Brampton. |
