Not Ranked. Helpful AND tactful post? : 0 My guinea pigs LOVE apples but I know that apples have lots of fiber. I was wondering if too much can cause diarriah. Thanks. |

Apples, like other fruits, are very high in sugar and should not be given more than once or twice a week. |

They can cause mouth sores if fed too often as they are acidic and feeding too many fruits overall can lead to health problems. It's best to feed no more than 1/8 of an apple per pig once or twice a week. |
