Not Ranked. Helpful AND tactful post? : 0 This morning i traveled 1 hour by train to a feed only store as they now stock Oxbow western timothy hay. I was telling the shop keeper how happy i was to see all the oxbow hay brands as it's very difficult to find in here in Dublin. He was asking me about the pigs i had and so on. He told me oxbow western timothy hay is not good to feed everyday to guinea pigs and if i give it to my girls to limit how much and how often i give it to my pigs. I said well,i beg to differ. The oxbow oat hay that i have i do limit but surely the western timothy hay is OK to give everyday. ? I put 2 large hand fulls in the cage with them and straight away they ran up to it and actually played in it.(never saw them doing that before). So i left them to play and enjoy . Please tell me this store keeper is wrong. |

Any grass hay is fine to feed unlimited. I sometimes buy oxbow western timothy and I feed it daily. |
