need ideas for sifting out dust at bottom of hay box ...

Just wondering if anyone has any ideas about how to separate out all that yucky dust that settles at the bottom of the box of hay (I order from Kleenmama's). I hate to put it in the hay bin because the piggies get mad at me with a "how dare you" look, plus I'm sure it isn't good for them to inhale it while picking through looking for strands. There's still some hay mixed in so I hate to throw it out and waste whatever's still salvageable. When the hay is running out and it gets down to those short strands and hay, I've tried tossing it all up in the air outside in the wind but I end up just wearing most of the dust and plenty of it still lands in the box. What do you guys do? Or should I stop being so cheap and just throw out the mess?

Take a couple grids, lay them in the bin with something underneath to keep them about an inch off the bottom, put hay on top. The dust will fall below the grids and when you get to the bottom you can peek in and see if there's any hay in there.

Cooling racks from the kitchen would work perfect for this if you can get a couple.
