Thought I'd just post a heads up since parsley is a favorite for many of our piggies. Muranaka Farm, Inc., has recalled 1,005 cartons of parsley originally shipped to Arizona, California, Colorado, Florida, Iowa, Illinois, Missouri, Tennessee, Texas and Wisconsin because they may be contaminated with salmonella. What would salmanilla do to a guinea pig? my guinea pigs are sick and we shop at a grocery store in Wisconsin. They started getting sick about 5 days ago and we did buy parsley and feed it to them a day or so before that. Are there tests that would identify that in the blood or something? Patches is on antibiotics but is getting worse. There is not a vet in my area that will see a guinea pig on an emergency basis. I have a vet but they are not at all cavy savy and it is so frustrating. |
