Veggies

Im a new piggy mom. Bella and Abby are 3 months old on July 9th, I have had them for 1 month. They are still shy and run into there pigloo every time I walk near, and I have to share them in order to pick them up. But Im still working on that.

I have also tried to give them fresh food but they will have nothing to do with it. How do I get them to try new food?

Thanks

Lightbulb Re: Veggies

Give them time.My Piggies did not know what to do with them at first,But now everytime I open the Fridge they sing.Try Fresh cut grass (My Piggies first love)from your lawn without Fertilizers or Pesticides,Cucumber,Yellow bell Pepper,Flat Itialian Parsley.Getting them to eat Bell Pepper and the parsley will save them they are the highest in Vitie C!Leave it in there cage for a while so they have time to explore it.Try to let them be and not walk by them if they are still that shy so they feel comfortable to explore there house and find the veggies.I know others in this site will advise not leaving fresh foods in over night wich is sound advice! But when my Piggs were little thats what I did during the night its quiet and they would eat the veggies,Now that they like them I don't leave stuff overnight.

Re: Veggies

Starr, your last post will not be approved as it contains more off topic stuff that on topic stuff. Please post a new thread instead of going completely off topic.
