My Pigs love: green/red/orange bell peppers, green leaf lettuce, cilantro, green beans, and spring mix lettuce. They also love blackberries and strawberries. I give only Organic fruits and vegetables, they seem to really love everything I offer them. |

red bell peppers are very high in sugar and should be fed weekly? Or is it monthly? I'd check the charts to make sure that you aren't feeding too much bell pepper. |

IluvePiggies, please learn more about care yourself before trying to give advice to other people. I know you mean well, but most of your advice is not correct and I don't want to start having to give you impactions for bad advice. There is just so much you need to learn still. Red bell pepper can be fed every other day. |

My boys all love the top halves of strawberries. Mogwai will inhale anything you put in his cage. Sarge & Lt. Dan are finicky, but will eat anything if it's green (finally they will eat their whole portion of a kiwi!), but refuse to eat things that aren't really that good for them anyway, even though I try to use them as a once a month treat... like banana or a raisin. They used to at least take a few bites of the banana, but not anymore. It's like "Nope, we've had our birthday and now we're only eating what we want to eat, silly slave." Lt. Dan will "argue" over a yellow bell pepper, though. |

Oh and if anyone is interested in what my pigs love to eat... Well they will eat anything but oranges, yellow squash and sometimes strawberries but they love strawberry tops, go figure. CoCo's favorite thing in the world is raisins. She will follow me around to get one. Chatty's favorite thing is pretty much anything she can stick in her mouth. My pigs have a fondness for leek greens and artichokes. |

My pigs love carrots, watermelon, rockmelon, apple, banana, parsley, corn on the cob, horn husks, cucumber I try not to give them fruit too often but they don't seem to eat many of the veges we commonly have in the fridge. I tried them with red capsicum (bell peppers) and they weren't too keen, they don't like cauliflower, broccoli, snow peas, zucchini or button squash I have parsley and sows thistle in the garden so they have this a few times a week plus fresh grass daily & lucerne hay ad lib. I'll try them with a green capsicum this week |

I've never thought about artichokes! My boys all prefer cucumber to anything..I buy the persian ones that are really tiny, since they tend to eat just the peeling on regular ones. Of course they eat their standbyes: Romaine, Cilantro, Italian and Regular Parsely, Red, Yellow and Green Peppers..well Turbo HATES green peppers for some reason. Sometimes they get a baby carrot or two They go nuts when I buy a flat of strawberries cause they get the tops. Turbo and Fabio love the celery leaves from the middle and top of celery stalks but hate the stalk part. My sweet and evil Lancelot is a garbage disposal and is constantly hungry, sometimes I wonder if he has Prader-Willi Syndrome!! |

Clover eats nearly anything, but she loves green leaf lettuce, romaine lettuce, baby carrots, red, green, and yellow peppers (but not orange peppers, picky girl!), cucumber, strawberries and the tops, melon (mainly cantaloupe, but she does like honeydew and watermelon, especially watermelon rind) , and APPLES. My goodness, Clover just loves apples. It's sort of funny, actually. When bringing her home, my mom was eating an apple in the front seat and I had Clover in the back seat. She was wheeking like crazy, and she kept turning and looking towards the front seat. My mom took a little piece of her apple and gave it to me to give to Clover, and she went NUTS! Ever since, we can never eat an apple in the same room as her without her going crazy for a piece of it! |

Are you giving leafy greens like lettuces, chard or any other leafy greens. They need leafy greens in their diet. I'd cut the fruit out for awhile until they get on a better variety of veggies. |

Mine LOVE artichokes! We always have to have them on hand. They can't get enough of them and will "fight" over them, even though I always give a leaf to each pig. Another thing to add to my list is dandelion flowers! Even more than the leaves. They love both the stems and the flower part. |

Haha, that pigture is hilarious! He looks as though he has perfect fangs! My very first guinea pig (from the uneducated pet store days, RIP Butterscotch) used to eat dandelion leaves all the time, and we would call him "Alien pig" because his entire chin would be BRIGHT GREEN! Gotta love them piggers! |

That is such a cute pigture! I love it. CharleyCharley loves carrots. He also eats parsley, cilantro, kiwi, grapes, kale, strawberries, all colored peppers, cucumbers, romaine lettuce, and lots of other things that I can't think of right now. We have a list on our fridge that we mark off with his likes and dislikes. Fruits are given sparingly as a treat. I do want to try some of the things listed in this post though, that I thought he wouldn't eat like the tomatoes, watermelon, artichokes, etc. |

Timon eats cherry tomatoes first before anything! He pushes everything else out of the way to get to the tomato slice! |

The favorite at my house used to be cilantro, but tastes have changed..... It must not be good cilantro season of something Now they kill off the wheat grass always first, then grab whatever. Even carrots aren't the favorite at the moment. |
