Not Ranked. Helpful AND tactful post? : 0 and in need of a CORRECT answer well my mom bought guinea pig food without me because we ran out COMPLETELY so while she was out i asked her to get the piggies some food so she did but she came home with this guinea pig food but it looked like hamster food! with the seeds and corn and those lil cat food pieces. i've been feeding them it for about 2 days by the end of today but i want to know if i should just give my hamster that food and get the piggies some pellets. thanks for your time in READING and maybe providing a ANSWER Last edited by Ly&Pigs; 11-30-08 at 11:49 pm. You should DEFINITELY stop feeding that to your guinea pig and get them some plain pellets. Oxbow and Mazuri 5664 are the best choices for pellets that can be found in stores. The extra seeds, corn, and other bits in most foods are fattening and can be a choking hazard. What is the food that your mom purchased? Typically, food for another species should not be fed to a different kind of animal. |
