I know this might sound silly but what's the best way to store a bundle of cilantro in the fridge? just leave it in a plastic bag or in a bowl?

Re: cilantro I actually researched this on the web because my cilantro was wilting so quickly in the refrigerator. The best way to store it is to put it in a cup or glass with an inch or two of water -- enough to cover the bottom of the cilantro stems and put the cup in a plastic bag (I use the ones I get from the supermarket produce department). Then use a twist tie to close up the bag and put it in the refrigerator. The cilantro lasts a long time that way.

Re: cilantro Thanks! I've got some salsa dip size bowls that will be perfect.

Re: cilantro Cilantro is my piggies favorite! I wash my cilantro as soon as I get it home. Then I spread it out on a clean kitchen towel to air-dry (I fluff it around occasionally). When it's all dry, I rough chop it and then put it all into a "Debbie Meyers" green bag. And then it goes into the veggie drawer of the frig. I do my lettuce and other greens the same way. They keep very well. Having all their veggies prepared in advanced makes their feeding time easier and I can get my kids more involved now.
