I know some people say no fescue, though have read different opinions and GL says it's fine. Brome, Timothy, and Bluegrass are all grass hays and fine daily. Rye grass can be fed, but not daily. Both Clover hays have high calcium content, so would have to be limited too. Here's a chart of pig safe hays. Sorry this post is so late! Don't feed the birdsfoot trefoil! It's poisonous. Ly informed me of this. For a complete list of poisonous plants look at the thread: "Everything you need to know about a cavy diet" by Ly. It's very informative. |
