Food For Two

I was wondering how you divide food for two guinea pigs. Like, if you have two separate bowls, do they know that they only get the amount in one of those bowls? I'm worried that one of my piggies is going to be more dominant than the other and eat the majority of the food, while the other less dominant one gets only a little... Has this happened to anyone or am I just overthinking this?
