Alfalfa Sprouts?

Can my guinea pigs eat alfalfa sprouts? If so, how often?
They are roughly 11 weeks old, if age is a factor.

This is not the answer for your question. Just FYI, I tried alfalfa sprouts several times. I don't know why, but my pigs don't eat them. So I changed it to wheatgrass sprouts, which is now their favorite.

Hmm...mine seemed to like them at first, but I just checked the bowl and they're still there. Guess it doesn't really matter now, LOL, picky pigs.

I think pigs don't like the flavor of alfalfa sprouts. I think you should try wheatgrass. It grows faster, thicker, and my pigs liked all of it including grain shells and roots

Some pigs like them and some don't. Feed small amounts once or twice per week.
