Potassium for heart pig? One of my boars is currently on Lasix for the fluid around his heart, and our vet wants us to give him potassium-rich foods. I'm not really sure which veggies are best for this. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

Re: Potassium for heart pig? The veggies high in potassium are ones that shouldn't be fed often. Sweet potato, spinach, honeydew melon, cantaloupe, beet greens, winter squash and banana (recommend staying away from banana period).

Re: Potassium for heart pig? I read somewhere that dandelions are quite high in potassium. They're also diuretic as far as I'm aware. Is parsley high in potassium?
