what's the best container to grow wheatgrass/pet grass in?

I decided to try to grow wheatgrass for my piggies. Bought the seeds on eBay and I'm waiting for them to arrive. I've done some research and think I have most of it figured out, but I was wondering what containers work best. Some websites say a cafeteria tray will work, others suggest seedling trays, etc. I want to make a decent amount the first time around. What have you guys tried with success?

Also, I was under the impression that wheatgrass grows back when you cut it, but I just read somewhere that the regrowth is nutrient deficient. Bummer. So would regular grass seed work? If I grew it in a tray would it keep growing after being cut? (I know that must sound like a goofy question, but since it would be growing indoors and in shallow soil I wondered if it would behave differently than grass growing in the yard.) What container would be best for grass seed?

Thanks for any advice!
