Egg Whites and Orange Peels? Can my Cavy have the whites of hard boiled eggs and or orange peels? I know he can have orange slices but not sure about the rinds!

Re: Egg Whites and Orange Peels? Yes, he can have orange peels, but absolutely NO part of an egg. Guinea pigs are strictly herbivores--eggs and any other animal-derived products are a big no-no.

Re: Egg Whites and Orange Peels? The forum is experiencing lag issues so when posting please be patient and hit the button once and wait for the post to go through before hitting it again. Oranges and orange peel are fine to give to pigs but remember they are a fruit and they are acidic so no more than one small slice per pig once or twice per week at most. If you feed other fruits then limit it to once per week.
