| I can get the leaves at the supermarket, but I'd love to feed her the whole plant. I know that we put down weed killer and fertilizer a few weeks ago so my backyard lawn is out. I will be watching the flower beds and I know that some will pop up in there. Do I have to worry about stray animals touching them or getting near them? I would of course wash them before feeding, but we do have some stray cats and I worry about stuff like that. Thanks for any help. |

| Re: Safe Dandelions You can feed the entire plant- flowers, leaves, roots. If getting them from the yard, they need to be from an area free from insectisides, fertilizers, and animal urine and feces. I look forward to spring each year because I can go out in the yard and get fresh grass, dandelion, plantain and clover for my girls. |
