Question About Bell Peppers All of my pigs love green peppers. Two of them, though, will not touch a red, orange, or yellow pepper. Is there a reason for it? 7 of the 9 pigs love all peppers but two of my boys just won't touch the other colored peppers to save their piggie lives. Is it okay just to give them green peppers only or is there some significant nutrition they would be missing out on not to have the varied colors? Peppers are one of the veggies I give them daily.

Re: Question About Bell Peppers My piggy won't eat peppers at all either. I've tried all colors. At most she will take a nibble and move on. I guess guinea pigs are like every other thing on earth. Different opinions and tastes. What other veggies do I need to make sure she has that will replace the peppers?

Re: Question About Bell Peppers All of our pigs eat green peppers. It took Ruby over a year before she finally starting eating it, so don't give up Jane_G. Neither of the girls like red, orange, or yellow pepper. The boys love them, though. It's ok to just give green pepper. An eighth of a pepper twice per day provides plenty of vitamin C.
