Carrot dance

In the mornings, we give my piggie 1 baby carrot. Everyday. Sometimes he does what we call a "carrot dance". He takes the carrot in his mouth and shakes his head up and down, then eats it. Anybody else have a piggie that does this? I wish I could get it on video but we don't have a video camera.

Re: Carrot dance

One of my pigs takes the carrot (only carrots, no other vegetable for some reason) and shakes it up and down like that as he's trotting away to eat it. I've always thought he was adjusting the way he was holding it in his mouth so he had a good grip to keep it from his brother.

Re: Carrot dance

When I chop up bell pepper for my boys' salads, I cut off 3 BIG pieces & give one to each of them. They take them in their mouths and shake their heads as you describe. Then they walk into their wooden hidey-houses still shaking the pepper pieces which hit the inside walls of the houses and make a bumpety-bump noise. It's just so dang funny!

Re: Carrot dance

Peanut does that all the time! Sometimes he holds it in his mouth, takes it from the first floor to the second floor, shakes his head quite a bit, drops it, the eats it! It is so amusing to watch!
