| Hay I have a question about the need for unlimited amounts of hay in the cage. I have two pigs, and one of them has an insatiable appetite for hay. I just received a 9 pound box of Kleenmamas, and I fill up their rack in the AM and if I am home, within an hour it is empty. At this rate they'll go through the 9 pound box in less than a month. Is that normal? If I give them a rackful in the AM and again when I get home from work, is that sufficient? Wouldn't it be reasonable to just fill it twice a day and let that suffice? |

| Re: Hay They really need unlimited amounts. It's 1) Because they are constant foragers, 2) Because it aids in digestion and 3) because it wears down their molars (back teeth). |
