Is Kleenmama better than Oxbow?

I made my first order from KM last night- 5lbs 1/2 bluegrass, 1/2 2nd "early" cut timothy. Shipping was a whopping $12 since I live in PA... Could the shipping be a little higher due to gas prices as well??

I'll let everyone know how my pig likes it compared to Oxbow hay.

I think that's very reasonable since she ships from Washington.

I just got my first batch of KM hay, 25 lbs of Timothy and 5 lbs. of Bluegrass and I am so far beyond impressed with it I do not have words to describe it!

I also got a bag of Timothy pellets and I'm impressed with it as well, though I think my pigs might like Oxbow pellets better. They haven't told me yet.

I have tried Oxbow pellets and hay and Cookie was ok with them, but not overly impressed like I've read about. A few months ago I ordered KM hay and pellets. That stuff Cookie loves, although I don't think it's piggy crack.

According to Cookie, piggy crack is critical care...off a spoon please!

When I switched from Kaytee to Oxbow, I saw such a huge difference already. But since all you guys are saying KM is even better, I will try it next time.

Yes I know where it is. The shipping came out to be a lot higher than when I did it with the "shipping estimator" so that's why I figured gas had something to do with it..

Gas could have a bit to do with it. I tend not to look at the shipping cost by itself though. Add your shipping to the product cost and divide by the number of pounds. You'll find that the overall per pound cost is still very affordable.

I absolutely think the shipping had to do with skyrocketing gas prices. Everything is being affected by it in one way or another.

KM and Oxbow are companies which sell hay and pellets
Timothy and Alfalfa are names of hay, which are also made into pellets.
