Re: My veggie menu...

Pigsforlife- if you are adding in some extra things now and then for more variety then this is a pretty good diet. Like add in a broccoli floret per pig once a week and a leaf of kale once or twice a week. Zucchini is a good daily thing for those pigs that will eat it.

I noticed you have 2 sprigs of mint. Not sure how many leafs are on a sprig but they could probably each have a sprig to themselves. How much bok choy are you feeding, you just say 1 bok choy, is that a baby one or a whole regular sized one? It's a chinese cabbage (for those that don't know) and it's better to not feed it but a couple times per week in small amounts as it's a gassy veggie.

Re: My veggie menu...

The bok choys are like this, except smaller http://www.cifarm.com/images/images/shanghaibokchoy.jpg .

I have also added hydroponic lettuce to their menu. They get this every morning with their cos lettuce.

Re: My veggie menu...

Yes. Should I continue to feed it as is or limit it?

Re: My veggie menu...

You can still feed it in the amounts you are feeding, but I wouldn't give it more than twice a week mainly because it's gassy.

Re: My veggie menu...

Your welcome. Diet and Nutrition is my specialty area when it comes to piggies. It's what I've studied the most and this forum section is like my 2nd home. (oh, watch out, Ly used a smilie!)
