Orange peppers?

Just a quick question- I have an orange bell pepper. Aparently its sweeter then a green pepper but not as sweet as a red.
I don't see them listed on the food charts (I could have missed it though), so I was just wondering if they are OK to give to my piggies?

Re: Orange peppers?

All peppers are okay to feed to your guinea pigs. You couldn't find it on the food charts, because Ly couldn't find the nutritional value for it, but it is okay to feed.

This is where I think you are wrong. Any spicy pappers are not OK for them. Orange bell peppers are OK

Re: Orange peppers?

Orange, yellow, red ,and green peppers were on sale the other day at King Soopers in the Denver area 10 for $10. That is really cheap around here especially for any color but green!

I got 30!

Just sayin, I was really excited and had to hyjack this pepper thread to share.

Re: Orange peppers?

Biscuit - Walmart usually has green peppers 2/$1 and their parsley is $.67 a bunch. King Soopers has decent endive, romaine, green and red leaf lettuce for $1.99. As for 30 peppers, I hope you either have alot of piggies or that they're REAL hungry.

Re: Orange peppers?

Apparently you can also get black and purple bell peppers.
