OK to feed those "growths" inside green bell peppers?? Just wondering about those strange-looking "growths" found inside some green bell peppers ... can the piggies eat those? And what the heck are they anyway? I've been throwing those away because I wasn't sure, so I thought I would ask. Here's a picture so you'll know what I mean:

Re: OK to feed those "growths" inside green bell peppers?? Yes, they are fine to feed. I feed those inside bits to my girls all the time. The only part I don't feed is the seeds. I don't know exactly what they are but sometimes I wonder if the peppers just don't grow properly and they develop what I call "mini" peppers inside.

Re: OK to feed those "growths" inside green bell peppers?? I usually throw them away along with the seeds because the piggies won't eat them. For some reason, they would just eat the pepper and leave the "growths".

Re: OK to feed those "growths" inside green bell peppers?? The peppers just got bad "directions"! This is kind of funny since I just made a post about "Green Bags" and plant hormones. Those growths grew because another one of those hormones was over produced- they're just extra pepper.
