Celery Greens?

Are the green leaves and little stems on top of celery ok to feed? I have never heard about them and guinea pigs.

I believe the greens are fine. The little stems you should be careful about because they still contain the strings -- you should cut them up like you would cut up the regular celery.

Re: Celery Greens?

My piggy eats celery leaves. I'm guessing they're nutritionally equivalent to celery stalks, only without the long stringy fibers. Check the nutrition charts. I've never given him a lot at once, just the tops from whatever we're eating. He thinks they're pretty yummy.
