eating vegetables

Dega will only eat her vegetables if they're cut up in tiny pieces and put in with her food. I tried putting them in a smaller bowl beside her regular food bowl and she wouldn't eat them. I was just wondering if anyone else's piggies do that.

Re: eating vegetables

Have you tried to let them warm up before you feed them? I will put my piggies veggies in a seperate bowl and they won't touch them for about an hour. I don't know if you tried that or not. Hope it helps!

I wonder if she has teeth or mouth issues.

Re: eating vegetables

Yep, when I put them in a separate bowl, she won't even touch them.. just moves the bowl across the cage. But as soon as I put them in her regular food bowl, she will eat them.
