KMs Hay question Kleenmama's Hayloft There are so many. Which is the best? What is bluegrass? I have two sows both around 10 weeks, one pregnant, and obviously babies on the way. I will want to get both alfalfa and timothy, mixed together. (This is okay?) So many to choose from in that selection....

Re: KMs Hay question Bluegrass is a type of grass hay. It's very good. I know, I've tried it myself. Some pigs go absolutely crazy over it and some don't. It's my pigs favorite. No one type of grass hay is really the best over the other, it's all pigs personal preference. Some have more fiber content than others though. You can buy the mix pack of timothy/alfalfa.

Re: KMs Hay question Frisky absolutely loves KM's Bluegrass. Parcheesi isn't sure. He's more used to Timothy from the rescue, and hasn't really gone for the bluegrass yet. While you're ordering from KM, you might want to get some of their Alfalfa pellets for your piggies. They seem really good.
