Is this enough?? ![]() Is this a good amount of veggies a day? Bean isn't in the picture but it's for both him and Marley. In the picture: Romaine lettuce, Green and Yellow peppers, grape tomatoes They were also nibbling on a baby carrot earlier today on their way to the vet. They've never had peppers before. Bean is nibbling, Marley isn't caring for it yet. Introducing new foods may take some time for them to get used to, right?

Re: Is this enough?? I feed a lot more than that to my 2 piggies. I give them about a cup of food in the morning and I just learned that I should up that to at least 1 cup in the morning and 1 cup in the evening. I was told that 2 cups a day per piggie would even be better.

Re: Is this enough?? They need the minimum of 1 cup each per day. Give one whole leaf of lettuce each per feeding and feed them twice per day. The pepper portions look ok but give that amount twice a day and cut it a bit smaller. Variety is the key to a good veggie diet. You need to introduce a few more things into their diet. Cilantro would be a good daily choice, then do some rotating veggies. See the sample menus sticky thread for ideas.
