 I'm so tickled! After I don't know how many tries, My two Sweethearts are eating romaine, romaine hearts, radicchio, cucumbers, and baby carrots! To some of you, this is probably no big deal, but for two guys who stubbornly ate only pellets, hay and occasionally cantaloupe, it is! And another thing...shows the importance of a cage mate when it comes to eating; when I gave my one guy a carrot, he looked at it like 'So what am I supposed to do with that thing?' But My Cotton started nibbling his right away, My Sunshine watched him(it was funny watching him watch him!) and pretty soon, he started chomping away, too! None of this would have been possible without the advice of you guys, so once again...thank you! |

| Re: I'm so tickled! That's great news, Wheekie! I know just how excited you are. Every time one of our babies starts eating something that they wouldn't before we practically do a happy dance! It's so much easier to make sure they get a balanced, nutritious diet when they actually EAT a balanced, nutritious diet!! |

| Re: I'm so tickled! I practically do a happy dance, too! I know I act like a little kid on Xmas morning...even when I go to work! I say,'Sunhine ate a carrot! or 'Cotton ate a cucumber!' They used to look at me like I was nuts, but I think they're getting used to me. People even ask me 'So how are the babies?' |
