Cucumber

My Guys love cucumber! They each grab a slice and run to a corner with it, then fight over the last piece! It's so cute! My question is...I see that they can have it 2-4x/week, but how much at one time? I usually give them 3-4 really thin slices each(they both beg for more, but I'm not sure, so I don't give in).Also, should I slice it, or would they like chunks or a big piece better?

I give mine half an inch each in a chunk and they seem happy with that.

Mine just sniff and then move on to other vegies, then pellets, then hay. Celery has been a no as well as peppers.

Cut it into about 1/4" slices then cut those slices in half for easier eating. They could have about 2 full 1/4" slices every 2-3 days. Cucumbers have a lot of water in them so you don't want to give too much. About what you are feeding now sounds about right but you can give it in larger chunks instead of thin slices.

Quack, sometimes it takes pigs days/weeks to eat new foods. Keep trying and I am sure they will eat it eventually. It just takes patience.

Yep keep trying! It took mine about 3 weeks to finally try their carrots then another week to finally eat peppers but they are eating those both now!

Mine also won't eat zucchini or cucumber yet but I offer them once a week - I figure eventually they may try them but no luck so far.

We give ours chunks also (with the seeds removed).

Our newest rescue doesn't want anything to do with it, but the other three love it. Now if I could just get them to eat squash or zucchini, but no go!

You don't have to remove the cucumber seeds. They are very soft and don't pose a choking hazard. Same with tomato seeds.
