| Re: Snak Shack They are alfalfa stuck together with honey. While usually not hazardous they aren't exactly healthy. There is a potential that eating too much of it would lead to diabetes from the sugar intake or calcium stones from the alfalfa. They also mold badly when peed on so not good for a short term chewy and even if they don't chew on it not good for a long term house. There are better things out there for both uses. |

| Re: Snak Shack Yep, I agree with the above, they are basically honey and alfalfa, 2 things unhealthy and fatining for guinea pigs. You'd be best off gettin an igloo or cardboard box. I have had one of my piggy's igloos for 9, almost 10 yrs and its still in great shape. |

| Re: Snak Shack Fiddle Sticks? They're fine. They are made of kiln dried hard woods wired together to make the bendable bridges. Just keep an eye on them if you have chewers. You want to make sure to remove them when the wire becomes exposed. |

| Re: Snak Shack The ones I saw in local stores just said alfalfa meal and honey on the ingredients. Might be different brands but none of them are a good idea anyway. Mine just like to chew the bark off natural fiddlesticks and then don't chew on them anymore. They mostly ignore the sanded colored fiddlesticks. If you don't have beaver pigs fiddlesticks can last several years before eventually they've been peed on so many times you have to throw them out. |
