Baby food as a treat?

Hi folks!

Is it OK to give my piggies a spoonful of veggie baby food now and then as a treat? I open up a jar occasionally for my bird, to mix in with rice or oatmeal, and I was wondering if the pigs could have a little.

Thanks!

Re: Baby food as a treat?

The only time you want to use babyfood is when making a pellet mash more tolerable and flavorful for a sick pig. Other than that, they don't need it and it's better not to feed it.

It's usually too sugary and can make them sick if given too much.
