| I was wondering...are pre-cut bagged greens safe to give to piggies?Even tho' it says they're washed,I'd wash them again myself...but I just want to know first if they're even OK?Also,I saw a bag of 'Sweet Baby Greens' that had lettuces in it I'd never even heard of and I want to know if anybody else has & if they're OK?It had Baby red & green Romaine & Leaf lettuce which I'd heard of,but it also had Baby Red & Green Salanova Butter Lettuce,Tango,Baby Red & Green Oak and Lollo Rosa!Help!!!! |

| Re: Bagged Greens Bagged greens are fine, I use them all the time after washing them. They can be very convenient because you can get a variety of lettuces pre-mixed and ready to go. I believe most lettuces are fine as long as it's not iceburg, but you will need to double-check that info. If they aren't on the nutrition charts, try looking them up online to find out about the calcium, oxalic acid, etc to see if they can be fed daily. |
