Question Mixed Signals about broccoli

I was wondering when feeding piggies broccoli does it need to be prepared in anyway other than washed? I thought I read somewhere to peal the stem. Anyway, if someone could clarify that would be amazing!

I know only one floret per pig and only 1-2 times a week so thats not a question. I just need to know about the preparation!

Thanks so much!

Re: Mixed Signals about broccoli

Peeling the stem on the florets themselves is optional. I just wash and give it to the piggies.

If you were going to give the bottom stem (the large part of the stem that all the florets come off of) then yes, I'd peel that.
