Tree Branch? I have a bradford pear tree growing in my front yard. The branchs taste sweet and mildly like pear. Is it ok to let my pig chew on them? She doesn't like normal wood to chew but I didn't want to feed her anything unsafe.

Re: Tree Branch? Pear tree branches are safe as long as no pesticides or chemicals have been used to spray the tree. Fruit tree branches that do not bear pitted fruits are ok to give. Fruit tree branches that bear fruits with pits such as peach and cherry are a no-no.

Re: Tree Branch? If there are any pestisides they were applied over a year ago? Is that safe or not? They were not applied directly to the tree but would have blown up off the lawn after I sprayed it.
