Oxbow Extra C!

Hello,
I recently started giving my guinea pigs these Oxbow Extra C treats, and they just love them. I work at a vets office and we use Veterinarian Purchasing to order all of our foods, medicine, etc.
Anyway, I find it just great and I was wondering if anyone else used this?
If not and you want to check it out find out if your Vet orders through Veterinarian Purchasing, or ask them about it! They'll probably know what you're talking about. Also if needed I could probably give the VP number if your vet has no idea what I'm talking about, it's not in the order form book.

My vet recommends those too but my pigs wont touch them. I do not that they are not necessary if you feed a wide variety of veggies.

Banjos - I see you are in Ontario. I looked up the Veterinary Purchasing Company you mentioned, and I think they sell mostly to vets in the southern Ontario area. Are they able to get any Oxbow products, like Critical Care, or even just hay? Maybe I can convince my vet to stock big boxes of hay for me...

I've got my vet ordering in the Oxbow Cavy Cuisine for me and now they are ordering enough to put out on their retail shelves. The price is $17.50 for the 5# bag which works out cheaper than ordering it from Canadian Pet Connection and paying for shipping. The thing I wish they could get is Oxbow's Critter Berries! My piggies lose their minds when they see that pouch in my hand - talk about a wheeking fest!!

I usually crush the Oxbow vitamin C and sprinkle it over the food like once or twice a week.

You can order just about all of Oxbow's products from Vet Purchasing.. Ferret food, Hamster food, Guinea pig food, even Prairiedog food. The largest bag of hay that you can order is 9lbs of Timothy Hay. I don't order it though, it's $40 and I don't think I'd have the room for it. You can order Critical Care as well, although I'm pretty sure that's not in the Order book.

That's cute.. I think that you can order them. There are a lot of treats and things that can be ordered.. some stuff isn't in the orderbook but you can still order them, it just means we don't have the item number on hand and we have to call the company.
