Best kind of cavy pellet food???

I know there are many kinds out there, but what is the best?

I've heard of oxbow, but I cannot find it anywhere, can you get it somewhere other then the internet (under age, i cant use a credit card )

If the locator doesn't give you a place, you can also try calling Oxbow and asking if anyone in your area carries it. Their "dsiributor" list isn't always accurate/complete.

Ain't that the truth. The one store they had listed within 50 miles of me doesn't carry it anymore. But they did end up giving me a bunch of water bottles they were trying to get rid of and I sent them to Texas Rustlers Guinea Pig Rescue.

Try to get an adult to order it for you and give them the money.

Where in Texas are you? If you are in the Dallas area I know where you can find oxbow at. It's in Oak Lawn actually. I got mine from there last week. If you want I can find out exactly where it's at for you.

I am near Austin. It really isn't a hassle to order it. Keeps me from buying a whole bunch of stuff I didn't intend to buy anyway. Like new toys and stuff. Thanks anyway.

A couple of weeks ago I followed others' advice and purchased Oxbow Cavy Cuisine pellets for my girls. THEY LOVE IT. I haven't tried Kleenmama's Hay pellets so I can't vouch for them.

I found the Oxbow Cavy Cuisine at a Pet Food Express near me. I don't know if they have them where you live. TLP had a great suggestion about calling Oxbow to see where they distribute near you.

Do make sure to call Oxbow. There were no stores listed on the internet store locator for my area but I have found two places just by accident. One is a petstore (they sell animals so I was not happy about it but needed the pellets) and the other I just found last week. I had to take my piggies to the vet and she brought out Oxbow pellets, vitamin C tabs and hay. She said "I recommend this brand highly and sell it right here." Im thrilled that I have another supply source that actually helps animals and doesn't sell them.

Well theres a pet food express right across from petsmart! so since I work tonight, I think I shall walk over on my lunch and get me some Oxbow. Thanks for the advise everyone!
