Oxbow food

I cannot find Oxbow food anywere near my house. I did a search on their site and the only store that sells it near my house also sells puppies and I refuse to shop there. Is there another brand that is OK for guinea pigs, thats also easy to find? Right now they are on Kaytee Forti-Diet.

Re: Oxbow food

The only other really good one I know of is Mazuri. They have a Dealer Locator as well, so check their site.

Re: Oxbow food

If you find the Mazuri, make sure you get the 5664 formula. They make another guinea pig food that had seed and bits in it.

Kleenmama's Hayloft will have pellets back in stock by the end of the month, but you have to order her pellets online. Kleenmama's Hayloft :: Home

Re: Oxbow food

There are no Mazuri dealers within 30 minutes of my house and I, unfortunately, can't order anything online. What about LM brand food? I can't find the ingrediant label online but has anyone else used it?

Re: Oxbow food

Also, call all your local feed stores. Not all of the stores that carry Oxbow are listed on the site.

Call all the exotic vets. Many of them carry Oxbow, mine does.

Re: Oxbow food

I order my Oxbow food online. I have to get the 50 lb bag because all of the stores that carry Oxbow around my area do not have the 50 lb available, the biggest they have is the 10 lb. I did the math of how many 5 of those would cost compared to the price of shipping and it still comes out ahead if you order online. Although I did have to get the performance as well of the cuisine and I added in some treats. It's nice if you have alot of pigs that can easily go through a 10 lb in about a week. Just though I'd throw that it.

Re: Oxbow food

I'm going to start using oxbow, and I can't find a place that sales it near my house so I'm ordering online.
