Timothy or Field grasses

I just (for variety) switched from timothy hay to harvest grasses/meadow grasses (or field grasses; can't remember the exact term). The pigs do not seem to like it as well.

Re: Timothy or Field grasses

Timothy seems to be a preference for many pigs. My own get 3 types of grass hay- bermuda, KM's blue orchard grass hay and KM's 3rd cut timothy. They eat all of them but their favorites are KM's hays expecially the 3rd cut timothy.

Re: Timothy or Field grasses

Guinea pigs often don't like something just because it's new or different. In a week or 2 they might change their mind or they might just decide to stay picky and demand their timothy hay. Mine prefer bluegrass but they'll eat anything except brome and bermuda.
