| Unusual amount of brown hay in my recent Oxbow order I recently ordered a 50 lb. bag of Oxbow pellets, and I also added a bag of Timothy hay since I was having something already shipped to my house anyway and the local co-op hasn't had Timothy in ages. For some reason, this bag has way more brown hay mixed in than usual. In fact, I've never had Oxbow hay that wasn't mostly green, but if you didn't know better, you'd swear I had bought a bag of Kaytee Timothy hay. Do you think I just ended up with an older bag? |

| Re: Unusual amount of brown hay in my recent Oxbow order Around this time of year you will find lots of brown hay. New hay has not been cut yet this year so the hay you got has been stored all winter. The smaller bags also seem to have a higher chance of being brown. |
