Ok, You Have To Watch The Info You Get From People. Always Get A Second Opinion When It Comes To These Little Creatures. Lets Just Say I Have Learnt From Experience In A Bad Way. Please Do Not Feed Your Pig Turnips, Onions, Potatoes Of Any Kind (ie. Sweet Or White), No Mushrooms. Important To Remember... Do Not Ever Feed Them Any Veggie That Grows From A Bulb..that Includes Flowers. Do Not Give Them Iceburg Lettuce ( Contains Too Much Water, They Will Have Very Wet Stool Which Is Hard On Their Systems.) These Little Guys Are Fragile.

Re: how much do i feed????

The can actually have turnips 2-3 times a week since they have a high sugar content.

Re: how much do i feed????

They can have sweet onions occasionally, leek tops and green onion tops/shallot tops a couple times per week. They cannot have spicy onions. I have fed all of the above to my girls except for shallot tops and my girls have never been ill nor have any of them died. *knocks on wood*

Not really sure where you got this info.

Also as a last note, while we appreciate your capitalization efforts, you have gone a litte overboard there justgotpiggies. Every word in the sentence doesn't need capitalizing.

Re: how much do i feed????

Just because this person is a so called exotics expert does not mean he/she is totally correct and so called "experts" are often wrong on many things. Is this person an exotics vet? I have fed the foods I mentioned now for several months and have had no problems whatsoever and will continue to feed my girls the veggies they enjoy.

When I said you didn't have to capitalize every word I didn't mean to stop using capitalization completely. You still need to use proper capitalization, ie: capitalize the first word of your sentence, capitalize your I's and any other appropriate words and please don't use ellipses (...).
