2 pigs need a home

I'm not sure if I am allowed to post this here, but I have two young ( less than a year) male pigs that I need to find a home for as I am having allergies to the hay and bedding. One is a Teddy and the other is Abby. I am willing to give the two of them away to someone with a C&C cage, if you do not have one but would like one, I am willing to part with my cage and ALL accessories for $75 OBO ( well over $150 work of stuff). I want these boys to find the best home possible but I do need to find one soon. If you are, or know of anyone looking for two super cute boys who get along great and have lots of personality please let me know!

They are located in Victoria BC

Thanks

Nicole

Re: 2 pigs need a home

I am sorry to hear of your troubles.
I am not sure if the allergies are the only reason for wanting to part with your pigs, but if they are, you could try a recycled paper bedding, like Carefresh or yesterdays news. However it may be that you are allergic to their urine, and that is a little more complicated.

As for the hay, some people find that they are not as allergic to other types, like Orchard Grass or BlueGrass. Now that we are going into summer you could probably even grow a lot of it yourself if you can't find it locally!

Anyway, best of luck, whatever you decide.
You should probably post this to the adoptables section too, and see if you can post it locally, just make sure you stick to the C&C requirement!
