man, everyone's crabby in this thread, did you all forget about the pigs during all your bickering? It doesn't matter who said what and how many pigs were in a cage at the HS (well it does, but i swear you guys are blowing this WAY out of proportion)

Since that person couldnt keep their mouths shut the OHS gets over 100 grand a year on animals.but who cares the main point now is that i had fostered many piggies rabbits etc and he screwed everything up for the lives of the animals.I went back about a week later and found out they put more then 60 down including the ones i was fostering.But it was about a year ago and the Ohs has hcanged procedures because of me.And another thing thats pathetic about humane societies here are.Instead of Neutering and spaying the animals they make you pay.If you wanna get a Female and a Male you have to Get one of them fixed.Who aggrees with me when i say dont care abotu making money lets keep the animal population down.so anyways if anyone wants to sponser or adopt a rescue that gives the animals the time and care needed please dont hesitate to call me.I take in all kinds of rodents and rabbits.if anyone wants pictures of the animals up for adoption please give me an email and ill send you zip file.I charge only 5 dollars a cavy and 10 bucks a rabbit. would give free but i got to make some money.im a 18 year old who loves animals and struggle to do almost everything but continues to rescue every animal i have seen.By the way im not allowed back to the humane society.This isnt a a throw up to that person im just sayin thank you =@.

I actually think that cavylover sounds oh so horrible. A person reported her about what she was doing(which was..? I don't know but it didn't sound too great, breeding or something? Horrible conditions?) and she goes running her mouth off. Cavylover, if you are still on this forum, why did they seize those animals? And I don't agree with you thrashing the humane society. They do the best they can... You use cedar, so I don't see how you can thrash them about that either.

I'm back cavylover nepean!!!! I just want to say you are the worse bullsh#ter I have ever read. You have never fostered rabbits and fostered only 2 pigs, but you have adopted a rabbit fron the O.H.S. The 2 pregnant pigs you did foster and the O.H.S siezed from you are alive and well. One had 2 babies and the other had 3. They DID NOT euthanize 60 pigs!!!!, and they don't change procedures because of idiots like you!!!! and of course they want you to get your pigs spayed or neutered, because of breeding, people breed and then they end up being brought in the shelter. The O.H.S encourages spaying and neutering. Please people on these boards DO NOT believe what he says about the O.H.S, he is bitter because he isn't allow to foster anymore. I really wish you knew who you were dealing with, you know some people from O.H.S staff might be reading this. LEON!!!!!

Havanese you are a tatlle tale. We are not children, all though maybe you are, Cavylover was trying to help out in a horrible situation and you ruined it and could have cost those precious animals there lives. The fact that you took this fight out of the forum is deplorable. If you fight here, it stays here. Obviously you were not thinking of those Pigs when you ran to the humane society about a valid opinion.

Cavylover, I believe what you did was heroic, helping the pigs in anyway is so wonderful. Also I understand that dealing with the HS can be very frustrating because it seems like they have enough resources, but fail to use them in the right ways.
This forum should be a place that we can vent our frustrarions without other people "telling" on us. That's just not cool.
